The modular system serves as a test and development base for VME/64x, CPCI and VPX based applications.

The development system with its robust aluminum construction supports backplanes with up to 10 slots in a 4 HP grid or up to 8 slots in a 5 HP grid with its 3 U and 6 U card cages. The flexible card cage supports both convection and / or conduction cooled boards equally in both sizes. The case provides card and system designers with access to the backplane and electronics from all sides.

The system provides 4 powerful 120 CFM fans for efficient cooling of the plug-in cards. The system management board, in addition to controlling the temperature of the fans, also ensures the optimal noise level of the system in noise-sensitive environments.


