CompactPCI Plus I/O

CompactPCI Backplanes based on the PICMG-Standard (PICMG 2.3 Rev.1) are 100% compatible to the classic CompactPCI backplanes and extend them with a modern, serial point-to-point connection through the rear connector J2. These include, among others, the PCI-Express, Ethernet 1000 Base-T, USB 2.0 and SATA/SAS. The CompactPCI Plus I/O builds the bridge to CompactPCI-Serial.With this CompactPCI Plus I/O builds the bridge to CPCI-Serial.
